‘Sounds of our Town’ will explore the role of popular music heritage in the revitalisation of cities that have experienced industrial decline. Featuring panellists involved in popular music heritage initiatives in international deindustrialising cities, the event aims to open a discussion about what more and more can be done to preserve and celebrate Wollongong’s rich musical heritage. All are welcome to attend, participate and share their ideas. questions from the floor are actively encouraged!
