Join us at Wollongong Art Gallery on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 6:30 – 8 pm for the launch of our 2019 program where we will unveil the names of the writers and artists appearing at our festival in November.
Hosted by Sydney comedian Lizzy Hoo, this free public event will see us raise a glass or two to writing and its power to illuminate topics that usually remain hidden in the dark as local violinist Jane Aubourg sets the party mood with her post-minimalist, looping tunes. There will also be a delicious spread of food provided, and festival tickets will be available for sale.
About Lizzy Hoo
Hailing from Brisbane, based in Sydney, Lizzy Hoo

Finals in 2017 and a year later was invited to perform at Just For Laughs
Sydney at the Opera House, which was later aired on Foxtel’s Comedy Central. In
2019, she performed her first solo show Hoo am I? What’s my name? to sold out
audiences at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival
where she performed two encore shows due to overwhelming demand.
