The 2019 Wollongong Writers Festival Short Story Prize opens on August 1.
Submit a short story of up to 2500 words related to the theme, ‘All Lit Up’, which is also the theme of this year’s festival and is about bringing the unspoken and taboo into the spotlight.
The top prize is $1000 and publication in Mascara Literary Review. The winner will also have the opportunity to do a reading of their work at the Festival Launch in November. Submissions close October 1, 2019.
