3rd National EcoArts Australis Conference: Using the Visual and Performing Arts to Encourage Pro-environmental Behaviour

26-28 May 2019, Wollongong, NSW

This is a reminder about the third national EcoArts Australis Conference on 26-28 May in Wollongong NSW.

This year’s conference promises to be bigger and better than ever before. We already have over 30 people who have indicated that they will be presenting.

We already have presentations that include:

·       the arts in environmental education;

·       festivals and community art events that have an environmental focus;

·       various artists who have been working with scientists and scientists who have been working with artists;

·       artists highlighting the plight of threatened species, climate change, tree decline, biodiversity loss, waste, public transport and active transport. 

Key dates

15 February 2019:   Call for abstracts closes

28 February 2019:   Early bird registrations closes

1 March 2019:          Draft program available

1 April 2019:             Program finalised

20 April 2019:           Presentation provided to be included in proceedings

26 May 2019:            Field trip and welcoming reception

27-28 May 2019:      Conference
