Kiama Library is encouraging everyone to snap and share selfies to become part of history.
The Library is taking part in #NewSelfWales, a State Library project to capture the contemporary face of NSW in 2018.
All you have to do is snap and share your selfie on Instagram using the hashtag #NewSelfWales.
Your portrait will join those of people from around New South Wales and those in the Library’s collection in what’s billed as the biggest public display in history.
#NewSelfWales is about telling the story of now, and capturing local communities, NSW including Kiama.
It’s a chance to be part of history by showing future generations who we are and how we chose to represent ourselves today.
Kiama Library will be providing a photo booth for locals to use, and share their portraits (5 -10 November).
