Serenades and dances

Our last program, Strings with Voices, was such a sellout success that sadly some people missed out on getting a seat in their preferred venue.

So we’ve decided, for our exciting new program Serenades and Dances, to introduce seated tickets and make sure our loyal audience members get a chance to book early to get the best seats in their preferred venue.

To get the best seats please book now before this concert series is promoted to the general public next Monday.

BOOK NOW

We are thrilled virtuoso guitar player Aleksandr (Alex) Tsiboulski will be the soloist for our next concert series in September 2018.  He will be performing two exciting works:

  • Ross Edwards’ Arafura Dances – Concerto for Guitar and Strings, with its joyous rhythms echoing the birdsong and insects, as well as the serenity, of Arnhem Land; and
  • Boccherini’s Fandango for guitar and strings providing the other foot-tapping dance in the program.

You’ll also swoon to the sounds of Steel City Strings with

  • Serenades for Strings by Elgar and Herbert, and
  • Samuel Barber’s moving Adagio for Strings
