Please join us on Friday 3 November to launch our Art Bar Artist and Co-Owner Jamie Cole’s exciting new solo show GHETTO CHIC
Ghetto Chic is a labour of love that celebrates the artistry and creativity of the tattoo culture and the people they adorne. In this cool new exhibition Jamie has selected six unique and creative personalities from the area, and reinvented their tattoos with his paint brush, pens and camera.
The opening night party will be a new format for the Art Bar, shifted to a Friday night and featuring local Hip Hop DJ Kane Naydo (North Gong NYE Party DJ). Kicking off at 6pm with a free glass of bubbles (for guests over 18) and snacks, and cash bar til 930pm.
If you’re interested in coming along check out Event Brite or the Art Bar Facebook page for details.
Or RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or 42324990
Tickets are FREE The Art Is Not… so bring your savings and your best friend and grab one of Jamie’s awesome Ghetto Chic portraits, paintings and drawings.
As is his tradition, Jamie loves to support a local not-for-profit doing great work for the community. This time round Jamie’s chosen Headspace Wollongong and Nowra. Headspace provide free support to young people aged 12-25 years going through a tough time. Jamie thought Headspace was the right charity to support given the stress the recent Marriage Equality Survey has had on LGBTIQ youth and our community.
Jamie is kindly donating 20% of all art sales and 100% OF ALL FUNDS raised through badge and temporary tattoo sales throughout the entire month long exhibition to headspace Wollongong and Headspace Nowra
The Ghetto Chic exhibition runs from 2 November to 3 December – don’t miss it!
