Art4refugees is an art exhibition and cultural celebration held in support of SCARF (Strategic Community Assistance to Refugee Families) – a non-profit organisation that provides friendship-based resettlement support to refugee entrants entrants in the Illawarra.
Art4refugees exhibits a diverse range of artworks contributed by both local and national artists. This year’s exhibition will be held at the beautiful iAccelerate space at Innovation Campus, University of Wollongong.
The Exhibition will be open for viewing and purchasing from the 26th of October to the 12th of November.
Join us at our Opening Night on Friday 27th October for traditional Syrian cuisine, champagne, live performances, guest speakers and a chance to purchase something unique for your home or office while supporting refugee entrants in the Illawarra.
SCARF is looking for artists to donate works to the 2017 Art4Refugees Exhibition.
We are happy to accept donations of paintings (in any medium), photographs, sculpture, textiles, jewellery and ceramics.
Join the likes of previous donors George Gittoes, Blak Douglas, Paul Ryan, Idris Murphy, Sallie Moffatt and Auguste Blackman to help make this event a success!
