Welcome to another new look Good Jazz & Blues News, thanks for the great feedback on our first GJ&B News, and welcome to our many new subscribers.  Of course the hot topic is How Fantastic Was Our Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival?!!  Thanks to all who came and grooved through 80 free gigs, we had a blast and everyone I saw seemed to be bopping along just brilliantly!! Our biggest festival yet…wonder what 2017 has in store.  Keep the second weekend of March pencilled in, but dates will be confirmed in a month or two. However in the meantime, the beat goes on…

Kiama Jazz & Blues Club is presenting another free gig, for all you groovers featuring 3 performers – Dr Don’s Double Dose, Sound of KoKo and Lee Holman with Sean Emmett.  Just turn up with your picnic gear, friends & family and enjoy!  You saw all these dudes at the Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival, so you get to love them all over again!

The Foreday Riders

Kiama Bowling Club

Aussie Blues Royalty The Foreday Riders supported by The Arc Riders and only $5 at the door.  Shane Pacey will be appearing with The Foreday Riders line up, and you will all know Ryan Van Gennip (Chase the Sun) fronting The Arc Riders.  See you there blues fans!!

Illawarra Autumn Jazz Fest

And you’ll always get great live music at Jamberoo Pub each Sunday, and at The Basement at Wollongong Builders Club also Sunday, at Corrimal Hotel on Saturday arvo 2.30pm…in Kiama keep an eye on Kabari Bar, El Corazon and Penny Whistlers for live music ,not always Jazz & Blues but live & local, def worth a look & listen!!
