Saturday Night March 8

Jeff Duff Band: Ground Control to Frank Sinatra @ Kiama Leagues Club upstairs auditorium 8.30pm
What would happen if, Frank Sinatra and David Bowie unwittingly turned up at one another’s concerts by mistake?  And they took up the challenge, performing one another’s repertoires. How would Ol’ Blue Eyes handle the thin white duke’s futuristic rock songs? How would Bowie cope with Sinatra’s swingin’ Jazz grooves?  Australian rock legend Jeff Duff is bringing the superstar switch to Kiama  with a hot Sydney combo featuring brilliant pianist Tim Jenkins & drummer Andy Davies, Duffo’ takes us on a unique, musical adventure, channeling the sounds and styles of Sinatra and Bowie into each other’s songs. Duffo is Doing it his way. (sponsored by Ray White Kiama)

Kiama Bowling Club  9-11.30pm

Dangerous, sizzling, blistering: Fiona Boyes rocks on guitar while Dorothy Jane smoulders on blues harp, these gals of blues blast out a larger than life, high calorie celebration of International Womens Day  … hot blues to groove you.  The smokin’ blues of The Jacky Howellers set the scene for the gals from 7.30pm

Sidewalk Soiree with Nick Rheinberger Duo @ Little Blowhole Cafe 4-6pm
Nick of ABC Illawarra radio fame needs little introduction! A great entertainer,  his acoustic cabaret puts a unique spin on the blues using a variety of strings from ukulele to gandarvi, plus Nick’s witty repartee make this a party and a half. This is always a major gig, The Little Blowhole Cafe team usually suggest booking in and/or bringing own chairs. I am wondering if they will close off the street this year?

Sunday March 9
